OUR VISION

Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre was founded in 2015 by
Lydia Ingpen, to assist the many kids in Westlake,
who for a variety of reasons, could not attend school.
Our vision is to nurture, counsel,
feed and educate as many of these kids as possible.

Over the past nine years, our centre has grown from strength
to strength. Our scope of assistance has widened
dramatically to include our foundation phase education program, Amazing Kids, aswell as our Happy Learning education book series. We have our own Social Worker that assits the families and arranges for counseling where needed.
We arrange educational assessments, horse therapy, exercise classes and hip hop classes.
We run a soup kitchen 5 x days a week.
We offer remedial services to kids from Westlake primary school, who are in danger of falling out of the schooling system.
Our beautiful building has 2 class rooms, a multipurpose (dance, art, therapy and exercise) studio, 2 counseling rooms, staff quarters, 4 bathrooms, 2 storerooms and a kitchen and cookery school.
We opened the doors of Vulindlela Place of Safety in May 2024.
